Scheduling an Appointment

You may e-mail Dr. Wise or simply submit the form below to schedule your first appointment. You may also call 713 294 8090. Dr. Wise will personally contact you as soon as possible. If you are planning to use insurance, please scroll down to read the details regarding confidentiality.

In addition to her regular business hours (10am to 5pm), Dr. Wise is also available for evening appointments on Monday & Tuesday.

Paying with Insurance

If you are running your sessions thru your health insurance, there are some things to be aware of in advance. These are:

  • Couple/Marital or Relationship Therapy is usually NOT covered by the insurance companies. Please call your insurance carrier to make sure whether or not there is a coverage for this type of service. If there is, they should be able to give you a pre-certification number on the phone to reimburse the services. We'll work with your insurance, please just be reminded that even though we are working on your relationship issues insurance companies will require a mental health diagnosis to be given to you or your spouse to reimburse the marital/couple therapy. 
  • Confidentiality Breach -When insurance pays for your sessions, they are almost like a third-ear in the room; by choosing them you are consenting them a full access to your therapy records, & you are accepting to be diagnosed with a mental health disorder for them to reimburse our office. This diagnosis stays on your records and could effect you in the future. Once we submit your claim to the insurance, we have no control of how the reported diagnosis or session notes could be used.
  • Denial of A Payment -Insurance companies might deny some services; their disclaimer applies. If this is the case, you are responsible for the full session fee of the denied date of service(s). You also ARE responsible for following-up with your insurance. Since it's very time-consuming to work with insurance, your optimum participation will be highly appreciated. 

Paying Out-of-pocket

None of the conditions with Insurance clients apply. You are the boss of your own therapy.

  • Confidentiality Breach -No third party is involved to pay your services; therefore unless you give us a consent, your records and all diagnostic information are throughly confidential & undisclosed.
  • Denial of Payment -Does not apply to you. If you need a payment plan at any point during your therapy process, we will work with you. Please let us know as soon as you are in the need. 


Cancellation Policy

Please kindly give us a 48 hours in-advance notice for cancellations or rescheduling requests to avoid fee. 
This policy applies both insurance & 
out-of-pocket clients.
